We have just received the latest report regarding the current market for permanent and temporary roles in the UK all the data is compiled by S&P Global for KPMG and REC from responses from over 150 recruitment and employment consultancies. It makes interesting reading:

We have noticed a drop in permanent vacancies over the last 6 months and have noticed this through the number of adverts being listed on the various job sites and agencies own websites.

Certain sectors are still struggling to find staff including Technical & Engineering and Accounts staff at all levels.

Wages have certainly not been rising and seem to have stagnated as company’s are facing higher operating bills due to the economic climate in the UK and around the world.
